You can follow these easy steps to download content to a PSP using a Memory Stick Duo.
1. Create a Sony Entertainment Network Account
To create a new account all you'll need is access to a PC and a valid email address.
2. Connect your PSP with a Memory Stick Duo to a PC.
Use a standard USB cable (sold separately) to connect the PSP system containing a Memory Stick Duo to your PC. To make a successful connection, ensure that the PSP system is turned on and the USB connection activated (go to USB Connection, under Settings in the Home Menu).
3. Download PlayStation Network Downloader from PlayStation Store (PC)
In order to use PlayStation Store (PC) with your PSP, you will need to use the PlayStation Network Downloader to transfer your downloaded files from PC to your PSP. This free software is available from PlayStation Store (PC).
4. Find content to download on PlayStation Store (PC)
You'll find a wide range of downloadable content on PlayStation Store for PC.
5. Ensure there is sufficient space on the Memory Stick Duo.
The size of the download data will be clearly displayed before you commence a download. You may clear space by deleting files, or you may wish to use another Memory Stick Duo. You should also ensure that the Memory Stick Duo is not locked (Note: locking is only possible on certain types of Memory Stick Duo).
6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
The download will proceed, and once finished will be available for use on the connected PSP system and Memory Stick Duo. You can also back up your content on your PC by connecting the Memory Stick Duo to your PC and copying the files to another drive.
